Who is Bruce Montgomery?

I am a person with an interest and appreciation of people of all ages and cultures.  In particular I have a heart for minorities and immigrants, believing that all people should be given an equal chance in our society.  Maybe that's partly because as a child and adolescent I was myself a "minority person" in other nations.  My early childhood was spent in Ramallah, Jordan.  Then from the ages of 10 - 17 I lived in Pakistan.  I am also blessed to be married to a gifted educator who is a passionate literacy advocate for minority children.   

             For personal enjoyment I take and post photos, play the piano and keyboard, and make wooden toys for my grandchildren. Occasionally I write a poem or song. My wife and I both share a love for ethnic food of all varieties, and visit our grandchildren as often as possible. 

             My greatest joy and most fulfilling relationship is the one I enjoy with Jesus Christ.  He is my Lord and Savior, and I am dedicated to worshipping him and serving him. 

I am privileged to be the senior pastor of Grace Church, located at 17400 Bubbling Wells Road in Desert Hot Springs, California.   We are a church committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and the ministry of the Word of God that is intentionally multi-cultural, bi-lingual, and inter-generational.  If you are new to the area, or are just coming through on a visit, please come and meet us.
